The opportunity
You will be working alongside another Dr and be supported by receptionists, and aboriginal workers. There is no after-hours work and on-call and any emergencies will be dealt with at the hospital.
The clinic is open Mondays to Fridays from 08:30 am to 05:00 pm. There is also a Wednesday night service from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, one of the doctors will be rostered each week. Using Communicare software.
The location
A small town in QLD, the facility is located 40 kilometers north of Cape York and 61 kilometers north of the Jardine River. While working and visiting the town, you can relish the different islands, scenic views, and amazing natural destinations.
Essential criteria
- FACRRM/FRACGP or VR qualifications
- Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- Experience in working within an Indigenous health setting is preferred but not essential
