The Opportunity

Take on a rewarding locum placement at a well-established Aboriginal Medical Service in Coonamble, western NSW. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team that includes a Registered Nurse, an Enrolled Nurse, an Aboriginal Health Practitioner, an Aboriginal Health Practitioner Trainee, admin staff and fellow GPs, all led by an experienced Practice Manager.

 

The clinic operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, using Best Practice software with appointment lengths ranging from 20–40 minutes. There is no weekend, after-hours, or on-call work required, allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care while covering leave for on of the two permanent GP’s.

How to get there

Essential criteria

·        Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM

·        Current AHPRA Specialist GP Registration

·        Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

·        Primary care experience in Aboriginal health desirable

·        Cultural awareness and respect for working within Aboriginal communities
