The Opportunity

As this well-established service looks to recruit a permanent doctor, they are looking for the support an experienced locum GP to provide comprehensive primary healthcare as part of a cohesive multi-disciplinary team. With four locations, in this particular clinic you will work alongside 2 part-time GPs, as well as full time nursing support, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, clinic manager and admin support.

 

Using Communicare software, you’ll consult Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with no emergency department duties, on-call shifts, or weekend work required. Paying $1900 daily, travel and accommodation support can be provided and the minimum commitment of two weeks is required.

How to get there

Those who can drive their own vehicle to the local area are preferred with the KM allowance being provided.

 

Essential criteria

 

·        Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM

·        Current AHPRA Specialist GP Registration

·        Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

·        Experience in rural or remote primary care, ideally Indigenous health

·        Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal communities
