The opportunity

Newly established and fast-growing Aboriginal Medical Service in Gympie is looking for a General Practitioner passionate about closing the gap for Indigenous Australians. This practice aims to provide Medical Services including General Practice, Specialist Services, Psychology, Physiotherapy, and other health and allied health services, all under one roof. The health hub has state-of-the-art features, beautiful consultation rooms, and a treatment room with nursing staff, health workers, and administrative support. No after-hours or weekends are required. Best Practice software.

Essential criteria

• FRACGP, VR, or equivalent qualifications; and General or Specialist registration with AHPRA.
• Have the cultural capacity and understanding of the health needs of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children, families, and community.
