About the position:

This Health Centre provides a comprehensive primary healthcare service and is staffed by GPs, RANs, AHWs, AHPs, a Midwife, School and Child Health Nurses and critical support staff such as Drivers, a Receptionist, a Maintenance Officer and a Cleaner. This position will require you to be 24/7 on call whilst in the community. You will be well supported by excellent Remote Nurses and Aboriginal Health Workers.

Our client will provide you with staff accommodation free of charge during your stay in community and the Clinic Manager will provide you with keys upon arrival to community.

About the location

The Kutjungka region is comprised of the remote Aboriginal communities of Balgo, Billiluna and Mulan. Balgo is located approximately 1,100kms east of Broome and 250kms south of Halls Creek. It is home to the Kukatja, Jaru, Ngarti, Pintubi, Warlpiri, Walmajarri, Wangkatjungka and Luritja language groups, each with their own history and stories to tell.

Essential criteria

• FACRRM/FRACGP or VR qualifications 
• Experience working within an Indigenous health
• Experience MMEx is desirable however not essential
• ALS 1 is desirable
