The clinic is supported by a team of four GPs. Services are provided to primarily Aboriginal clients. Supporting staff include Nurses, Midwife, Child Health Nurse, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and Administration staff. There are also a range of visiting medical specialists and allied health services.
Hours are strictly 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with no hospital or nursing home obligations. Software is communicare.
They are across the road from the large local regional hospital and focus on classic primary care services including maternal and child health, chronic disease, mental health, palliative and sexual health care, and some telehealth consultations. The clinic works closely with their Social and Emotional Wellbeing centre to provide holistic care, including an in-house counsellor, Tackling Indigenous Smoking Officers and NDIS team.
Coastal Pilbara in the north of Western Australia the town is a welcoming community with excellent facilities. Local and nearby attractions including beaches, gorges, tours of industries, artwork, wildflowers and wildlife including whales, turtles and dolphins. It is popular with young families and there are a number of great primary schools. There is also plenty of work locally for partners.
Must have specialist registration with AHPRA with FRACGP or ACCRM and eligible to apply for A1 rebates with Medicare
