The Opportunity
Situated in the beautiful rainforest, in this clinic you will practice interesting and varied medicine including indigenous health. Supported by other GP’s daily, this is a mixed billings clinic offering bulk billing services for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders, pensioners with a health care card, Veterans’ Affairs card holders and children aged under 16. Best Practice software is in use and Standard Consultation times are 15 minutes.
The Location
Just 25km northwest of Cairns, this village is a picturesque mountain retreat, surrounded by the world’s oldest living tropical rainforest. Whether you enjoy the local shopping, dining and wildlife or venture in to Cairns itself, Port Douglas or the Daintree rainforest, there is certainly plenty to keep you entertained across the weekends.
Essential Criteria
To be successful in applying for this role you must hold FRACGP/FACRRM or VR Qualification, have a current Specialist registration with AHPRA, and full working rights in Australia. You must also have a company ABN and be registred for GST.
