Locum VR GP - Coastal communities in QLD

• $150 per hour or 70% of billings with the clinic situated in an MM5 area

The Opportunity

This group of 3 state-of the-art practices are all closely located and all offer mixed billing services to the surrounding region which is growing in size. With full time nursing support across each clinic there is also the Practice Manager and admin team. With Best Practice software in use, 15 minute standard consultation times are available and the usual hours are Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm with an optional Saturday clinic from 09:00am – 15:00pm (private billing on a Saturday). This a growing region with a mixed patient based including elderly patients and a lot of tourists to the area as well due to the stunning beachside location.

$150 per hour or 70% of billings are paid and due to the MM5 rating there are lots of incentives available, along with a full patient base to be seen. Flights, car and accommodation can be provided, including 2-3 bed self-contained accommodation that is pet friendly.

The Location

Situation around 1.5 hrs from the Sunshine Coast, these small coastal communities offer amazing natural attractions where you can unwind and slow down a pace, breathing in the fresh ocean air on a beach side walk. Or for an adventure you could swim with dolphins, explore the renowned Fraser Island or take in the rainforests, heathlands and freshwater lakes. There is still then a shopping centre available with a full sized Woolworths, a pharmacy, bottle shop and bakery for the amenities of day to day life. If a sense of adventure is really calling, why not spend a weekend sky diving, ocean diving or para gliding instead!

Essential Criteria

You must hold AHPRA Specialist Registration and fellowship with the RACGP or equivalent. You must also have full working rights.
