Locum VR GP - Coastal Tas

• $1200 paid daily
• $1000 travel budget provided as well as 2 bedroom unit
• Independent, GP owned, family practice with a great support team

The Opportunity

There is a spot available for a General Practitioner to join this family friendly, modern group practice where you will earn $1200 per day. You will enjoy desirable working hours of 8.30am till 5.30pm, with the clinic closing for a 1-hour lunch break. There is a great admin team who offer support to all doctors who come through the practice as well as 2 part time practice nurses and a MPA. There is also a Dietician and audiologist who visit regularly and an onsite Clinical Optometrist. The clinic values quality patient care and preferences a 4-week minimum commitment where possible.

As a full-service privately billing General Practice there is a focus on family medicine, preventative health, early intervention and follow up whilst providing assistance to manage health care needs. Best Practice software is in use and appointment times are 15 minutes with this block required to cover the permanent Principle GP’s leave.

The Location

On your days off take advantage of beautiful ocean and mountain views and enjoy popular tourist walking and cycling tracks. This busy coastal city offers plenty to explore, including an abundance of Maritime history. Located on the Mersey River and Bass Strait Coast, there is plenty of fresh produce to enjoy in local pubs, restaurants, fish and chip shops or even from the farm gates. The area is known for its wonderful produce, clean air and scenic coastline and National parks.

Essential Criteria

To be eligible for this role you must be a VR GP with FRACGP or equivalent and you must hold full working rights.
