Locum VR GP - Coastal WA

• General presentations as well as pre-employment medicals
• $2000 paid daily

The Opportunity

Working 4 days per week, across the Monday to Thursday, you will support this solo practice, allowing the permanent GP to take a break. Working 9am – 5pm Monday and Wednesday, and then 9am – 5.30pm on Tuesday and Thursday, there is no on-call or hospital work. As the permanent GP also provides occupational health cover, there may potentially be new workers comp claims that come through as well as an average of 6-8 pre-employment medicals seen per day. General patients will then be seen with patients ranging from infants to the elderly. With full time nursing and reception support, this mixed billing clinic uses Best Practice software.

Paying $2000 per day, flights can be provided as well as a self-contained studio apartment with cooking facilities.

Based on the south Coast of WA, this is a beautiful and diverse coastline being both stunning and rugged at the same time. With something to entertain everyone, you will find world-class wine, food, hiking, diving, swimming, mountain biking and a whole variety of some of Australia’s best beaches as well.

Essential Criteria

With unrestricted AHPRA specialist registration, fellowship with the RACGP or equivalent and full working rights, you will also have prior experience with pre-employment medicals.
