Locum VR GP - Gemstone Country, MM5

• $1600 paid daily plus accommodation and travel support
• Work alongside 1 other GP and potentially a registrar

The Opportunity

In this bulk-billing GP clinic that offers 20-minute standard consultation time, you will be working alongside another GP whilst 2 of the regular doctors are on leave. There is usually at least one nurse working each day and dependent on the day it may be an EN or RN. It is Best Practice software in use and as for the patients, it is generally an older patient base though the clinic does assist anybody from birth to death. A registrar may have commenced in the clinic by the stage of these locum dates in which case some collegial support and supervision may be required.

Dates where cover is required includes various blocks between the 31st March and the 11th July whereby $1600 is paid daily, along with travel and accommodation support.

The Location

This town, one of the oldest in New South Wales, is based in the North West Slopes region which is part of ‘gemstone country’. With gold, gems and sapphires having been found her since the 19th century, it is a great stop on the Fossickers Way touring route. As for the surrounding countryside, it is blessed with national parks and rivers to explore.

MM5 location. This location qualifies for additional financial incentives through the Workforce Incentive Program (WIP).
