Locum VR GP - High Country Vic

• $1500 paid daily plus travel, car & accommodation support
• Help assist the registrars in the clinic
• Provide support for a period of annual leave

The Opportunity

This locum opportunity is for a General Practitioner to work in a reputable teaching practice, covering a period of annual leave and to provide additional cover to meet the needs to the surrounding community. The clinic operates from 0900 to 1730, Monday to Friday with a variety of services offered. Consultations usually take 15-minutes, but longer consultation can be arranged when required. There are nurses on site daily as well as on site pathology and allied health services. There are registrars in the clinic who will require assistance and support across this period, this includes 3 senior and 2 junior registrars who may need to raise questions on occasions.

 

If traveling from the local area 1 week of cover can be considered, otherwise 2 week minimum is preferred.

 

The Location

Home of the renowned Art Gallery, high-speed action at the Winton Motor Raceway, street art, silo art, the nationally significant Winton Wetlands, events, cafes and so much more, this area is 2 hours north of Melbourne and 1 hour South of Albury.

 

Essential Criteria

To be eligible for this locum you must have working rights in Australia, AHPRA specialist registration and fellowship with the RACGP or equivalent.
