Locum VR GP - Huon Valley

• $1500 per day or 70% of billings

The Opportunity

Providing locum General Practitioner support during a period of leave, your week will be split between 2 associated clinics south of Hobart in a stunning region of Tasmania. Various GP’s and registrars are on leave so on some days you may be working solo but with admin, nursing and PM support. On other days you may be working alongside a registrar but with remote supervision in place you will only be required to provide collegial support where necessary.

$1500 is paid daily or 70% of billings, along with pet friendly coastal accommodation and flight and car support as well.

The Location

With the first town located just under an hour from Hobart, it is the gateway to the Hartz Mountains and celebrates its history on every street corner. With vineyards, heritage centres and parks, it is also known to be the centre of Tasmania's fruit industry. As for the other town, it is a picturesque fishing village on Port Esperance Bay where you can enjoy fresh seafood, scenic walks, and rugged coast line.

MM5 location. This location qualifies for additional financial incentives through the Workforce Incentive Program (WIP). Eligible GPs can receive significant financial support based on the area's classification.
