Locum VR GP - Indigenous Communities at Kingaroy

The opportunity

As a solo GP practice, you will be working with a passionate nursing and reception team. The clinic emphasizes a comprehensive healthcare approach and offers a range of services assisted by visiting Allied Health specialists. This is a well-known practice within the community which is reflected in the patient volumes you can expect to see.

**Clinic will consider 1 week if driving from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast region.

The location

Based in the picturesque and serene South Burnett Region. This region is well-suited for anyone looking for a weekend vacation. With no on-call or weekend work required and an early finish on Fridays, you will have plenty of time to properly explore the area. Some of the must-see activities include visiting the Kingaroy Observatory, art galleries and museums, vineyards, or the lovely Pottique Lavender Farm.

Essential criteria

• FRACGP, VR, or equivalent qualifications; and General or Specialist registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in working within an Indigenous health setting is preferred but not essential.
