The opportunity

We are seeking experienced GPs to provide culturally appropriate primary healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Batemans Bay, on the stunning NSW South Coast. You’ll work as part of a supportive team of GPs, nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers and allied health staff, delivering comprehensive care in a welcoming environment.

The clinic uses Best Practice software, with a minimum of 20 minutes per consultation. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with no on-call, after-hours or weekend requirements. Locums are required for a minimum of one week, with longer blocks available.

How to get there

Essential criteria

  • Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM
  • Current AHPRA Specialist GP Registration
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Experience in rural or remote healthcare, ideally Indigenous health
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity in Aboriginal health contexts
