The opportunity

Take on a rewarding locum placement at a well-established Aboriginal Medical Service in Coonamble, western NSW. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team that includes nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, admin staff and fellow GPs, all led by an experienced Practice Manager.

The clinic operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, using Best Practice software with appointment lengths ranging from 15–30 minutes. There is no weekend, after-hours, or on-call work required, allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care while covering leave for permanent staff.

Essential criteria

• Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM
• Current AHPRA Specialist GP Registration
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Primary care experience in Aboriginal health desirable
• Cultural awareness and respect for working within Aboriginal communities
