The Opportunity

Ochre Medical Centre Cooma, is a well-established clinic that prides itself on the high level of care provided to the residents of the region and they offer a range of services including Skin Checks, Minor Procedures, Women’s Health, Antenatal Care, Mental Health and Chronic Disease Management as well as a range of Immunisations. With a number of the doctors on leave from this group practice, the clinic is looking for additional support across this winter period, with a guaranteed daily rate of $1400 paid plus travel, car and accommodation support.

• Working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
• No on-call, weekend or ED work
• Full time nursing support available

The Location

As the largest town in the Snowy Mountain region, Cooma is the gateway to the mountains that are just over 1hr away. Whether you opt for the shuttle bus or drive yourself, staying here for a couple of weeks allows plenty of opportunity to combine work with leisure. As for the town itself attractions include the Snowy Hydro Information Centre; the Centennial Park which celebrates the town's historic multiculturalism and the fascinating Correctional Services Gaol Museum; as well as many fabulous coffee houses, eateries and pubs with a cosy fireplace.

MM5 location. This location qualifies for additional financial incentives through the Workforce Incentive Program (WIP). Essential Criteria

• FACRRM/FRACGP or VR qualifications 
• Unrestricted AHPRA Specialist Registration
