Locum VR GP - Ochre Health Lightning Ridge

• $1500 paid daily or 65% of billings, dependent on which is greater

The Opportunity

As the GP only doctor, you will be working alongside GP VMO’s who cover the Emergency cases, as you become an integral part of the clinical team. Earning $1500 per day, or 65% of billings if greater, and working from 9am – 5.30pm on Monday to Friday, there is no weekend or on-call required. You will be well supported as part of the collegiate multi-disciplinary team in this recently re-furbished Clinic. Best Practice software is in use and 15 minute standard appointment times offered to patients. 

The Location

This thriving opal mining town like no other, with welcoming locals and a unique moonscape landscape in the surrounds due to the mullock heaps under which the miner works. As you potter down the main street you will find it lined with regular shops and eateries, whilst further avoid there are attractions such as the rough cement "castle" of the Astronomer's Monument and the house made from bottles. Attracting over 80,000 visitors a year, "The Ridge" has a number of good quality accommodation options and restaurants.

Essential Criteria

You will require AHPRA General Practitioner Specialist registration and full working rights.
