Locum VR GP - QLD Island

• 1 - 26 Jul minimum but 3-6 month available
• $1500 paid daily plus 1 bed apartment and allocated buggy
• Best Practice software and 15 minute consults

The Opportunity

Working Monday – Friday from 08:30am – 16:30pm, with the last patient booked at 15:45pm, you will work along since a Registered Nurse 3 days of the week, plus full-time reception cover. Using Best-Practice software and offering 15-minute standard consults, patients include island residents, HIE Staff and visitors and tourist. There is also a QLD ambulance service on the island. There is no afterhours or on-call requirements with this role and you will be provided with a 1 bed apartment with a stove plus wifi. You will also be allocated a buggy. $1500 per day is paid in this only Medical Centre on the island.

The Location

Slow down a pace, unwind and relax in this stunning island where down time you can be spent swimming, snorkeling or kayaking at one of the many beaches, hiking across one of the many tracks or dining at one of the delicious cafes or restaurants. With no cars on the island, the buggy will be a great way to get around and trips off the island include the ever popular Whitsundays.

Essential Criteria

You must hold unrestricted AHPRA specialist registration plus RACGP fellowship or equivalent and full working rights.
