Locum VR GP Queenstown

• 15 minute standard consultation times

The Opportunity

In this Ochre Health clinic you will work from Monday to Friday between 0900 – 1730 with no weekend or on call required. Utilising Best Practice software and 15-minute appointment times, you will work alongside a locum GP VMO who covers the emergency cases and hospital beds. There may be a requirement to support the registrars in the practice as well.

As the only private medical centre in Queenstown, it is attached to the hospital and aged care facility. The practice has the capacity for three full-time doctors who are supported by a full-time Chronic Disease Management trained Registered Nurse and practice staff.

As the largest town in Tasmania’s west, you will find yourself surrounded by dramatic hills and mountains. Once one of the richest mining towns, it is experiencing a rebirth with growing tourism and art culture.

Essential Criteria

To be eligible for the role, you must have a specialist registration with AHPRA and fellowship with RACGP.
