Locum VR GP - Regional NSW

• $1800 paid daily plus travel and accommodation support
• Work alongside other GP’s plus nursing support
• 15 minute standard consultation times

The Opportunity

Take the opportunity to support this practice located in the northern region of New South Wales. Offering a comprehensive range of services to patients of all ages, you will find around 57% of the population are female, 16.4% Aboriginal patients and around 4400 patients in total. There is pathology on site as well as visiting Allied Health services such as Obstetrics, Cardiologist, Rheumatologist, Podiatrist and Psychologist. There is nursing support from an RN and EN and the software in use is Medical Director software.

 

The daily rate of $1800 is paid daily with this rate including the requirement to provide a GP assist on-call service on a rotational roster. This is for patients of the clinic only and does not involve call out’s as there is a local hospital where patients can be directed to if required. The roster tends to be split across 3 doctors. Accommodation and a travel allowance is then provided.

 

The Location

This small town, located in northern New South Wales, boasts a rich agricultural history. The region is renowned for its artesian hot spring baths, which have gained widespread recognition for their reputed healing properties.

 

Essential Criteria

To be eligible for this role you must have unrestricted specialist AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner and full working rights.
