The Opportunity

Paying $1600 per day, with travel, car and accommodation provided, you will be based in a mixed billing clinic with 15 minute standard consultation times. Servicing a small country town with a primarily ageing population, you will be joining 2 other GP’s as well as a GP VMO or ED doctor providing cover in the hospital. There is also full nursing support including a chronic disease nurse. This large clinic has 12 consulting rooms and utilises Best Practice software. They would require 2 weeks of commitment as a minimum and a working with children check as the clinic is associated with the local health service.

On occasions you may be rostered to help out with one of the Aboriginal outreach clinics for one afternoon in the week.

The Location

Based on the banks of the Snowy River, this early settlers town is surrounded by national parks, forests and beaches. You will see dramatic coastlines, sheltered bays, and endless golden beaches at Cape Conran Coastal Park, or you can recharge at one of the town’s cafes and bakeries.

Essential Criteria

To be eligible for the role, you must have a specialist registration with AHPRA and fellowship with RACGP.
