The Opportunity

This reputable practice is looking for a locum General Practitioner to cover shifts from 3 Jan - 13 Jan & 30 Jan - 10 Feb whereby supervision for the registrars will be required. This GP-owned, private billing and teaching practice has multiple special interests such as skin cancer surgery, geriatrics, palliative care and more. Using Medical Director/Practsoft software, they are mainly appointment based but also provide limited walk-in services. The practice caters to patients of all ages, from babies to elderly, seeing 4 patients per hour. $150 per hour or 70% of billings is paid plus an additional $200 per session for the supervision.

The Location

The clinic is located in a beautiful regional city that is the gateway for Northeast Victoria. There are plenty of activities all year around in the area including ski/snowboarding, kayaking, water ski, fishing, bush walking, 4WD, mountain/road cycling, rock climbing and caving. There are also further entertainment options including cinema, wineries, breweries, concerts, festivals and a performing arts centre.

Essential Criteria

To be eligible for the role, you must have a specialist registration with AHPRA and fellowship with RACGP.
