The Opportunity

This small rural clinic is seeking a locum VR GP to assist whilst their principle GP is on leave. This community gem is a mixed billing clinic comprised of four staff members: Doctor, Nurse, Receptionist and Practice Manager. They always strive to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness. The age range and demographic of the patients is largely mixed with the majority falling in to the 50+ demographoc.

Paying $1500 per day or 65% of billings, dependent on which is greater, self-contained accommodation can be provided along with a KM allowance or hire car and flights if required.

Details:

• Monday to Friday 08:30am – 17:00pm with 1hr lunch break

• No on-call, ED or weekend work

• Mixed billing clinic

• Best Practice software

• 15-minute standard consultation times 

• Nursing support 4 days per week

The Location

This small town has a population of just over 1000 people and is located north of Toowoomba. It is nestled amongst the picturesque Darling Downs farming country and is famous for its magnificent jacaranda and silky oak trees. 

MM5 location. This location qualifies for additional financial incentives through the Workforce Incentive Program (WIP). Essential Criteria

• Must be comfortable working solo.

• Unrestricted Australian working rights

• Specialist AHPRA registration
