Locum VR GP/On Call - Ochre Health Strahan

The Opportunity 

Make the most of this rare opportunity to locum and holiday in a stunning part of Tasmania. General Practitioners will work across two clinics, Strahan which is a solo GP Practice from Tuesday to Friday, and Zeehan a group practice on Monday. The locum will also work for the GP Assist telehealth service from Monday to Thursday to provide an afterhours telephone service where calls are rare and there are no call backs or face to face consultations required. Best Practice software is used and standard consultations times are 15 minutes. $1320 per day inclusive of 4 nights on call (GP Assist only via phone)

Strahan is now a significant locality for tourism in the region and is well-known for being a picturesque town in Tasmania. Zeehan is 30 minutes from Strahan and is located within Tasmania's wilderness, both towns with a rich history and scenic forests ideal for a change in scenery.

Essential Criteria 

To be successful in applying for this role you must hold FRACGP/FACRRM or VR Qualification, have a current Specialist registration with AHPRA, and full working rights in Australia.
