The opportunity

Ngati Ruanui Tahua Limited operate two General Practice Healthcare Centres, Hawera and Patea. They are an integrated health and community service provider, offering multi-doctor General Practices and professional health service to the wider South Taranaki community. They have a broad range of family medical and specialist services along with outreach clinic services.

They are currently seeking a General Practitioner to join their Healthcare Centre team, reporting to the Practice Manager. This role will be based at their Healthcare premise on Lincoln Street in Patea and will also work across the Healthcare Centre in Hawera. 

In this role you will provide personal, family, whanau and community orientated comprehensive primary care medical services. As part of the General Practice team, you will be responsible for providing patient centred, culturally safe and appropriate holistic care, and a high standard of clinical service to patients and whanau.

The practice is situated in one of the bigger towns of the region - it’s a great place for families, and within easy visiting distance of regions main metropolitan centre. Geographically stunning it’s a wonderful place for sports and adventure, complete with mountain walks and on the doorstep of a stunning coastline of surf beaches.
