The opportunity

Join this practice that provides primary healthcare services to the large rural district of Tararua. They are a large organisation delivering GP care, hospital services, nurse-led clinics and community nursing from over five sites. The doctor will work between the two practices: in Dannevirk and in Pahiatua (they are 30 minutes apart). 8-10 sessions per week.

They have over 120 number of staff that work in a model of care which is multi-disciplinary, integrated and caring. 

The location

Tararua offers a unique experience from long golden beaches with the surf rolling in, to rivers containing some of the best Brown Trout in New Zealand. There are numerous interesting bushwalks and huts for the adventurous.
