This position is advertised as full time however there is flexibility to consider options around FTE.  The emergency department has been approved as a site for advanced trainee placement and as such we are looking forward to further developing education and training programmes for junior medical staff.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the desire to work in a smaller secondary care hospital with the opportunity to practice alongside other specialist services such as general medicine, paediatrics, surgery and mental health to deliver innovative and responsive care to people presenting to the ED. A strong skill base in emergency medicine and urgent care, along with interests in particular subspecialty emergency care such as paediatrics would be beneficial.
