The Opportunity
Wagga Base Hospital provides a 24-hour accident and emergency and is a 325-bed referral hospital. The ED has 16 acute beds and 3 resus beds, and is staffed as below. Support is provided by 24hr consultant, registrars, RMOs and nursing staff and FACEM shifts are split between ‘in charge’ and ‘resource’ shifts.
The Location
Wagga Wagga is a vibrant regional town located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Thriving with boutique wineries and a local brewery, along with a 22 acres of botanic gardens including a zoo and aviary. This locum location is a firm favourite amongst Emergency Medicine Doctors.
Essential Criteria
To be eligible for this for this role you must have
- General Registration with AHPRA
- Australian working rights
- ED experience
