The opportunity
35-bed rural hospital is in need of locum Rural Generalists with procedural skills in obstetrics. Dalby has 250 births per year (and rising). There's an obstetrics clinic most days and locums can contribute to ED and wards in the hospital (flexible role). On-call for obstetrics and also for ED if desired.
The location
Dalby is a large rural town in Queensland. It is a prosperous rural centre that offers scenic picnic spots, parks, wide streets and lots of tourist attractions. Daly prides itself with its rich culture, beautiful art and amazing heritage sites. Stop by the nearby towns of Bell – nestled in the foothills of the Bunya Mountains, Kaimkillenbun – affectionately known as “The Bun”, Jimbour – with its magnificent country homestead, and Warra’s iconic Queenslander architecture.
Essential criteria
To be considered eligible for this role, you will need to be an experienced and vocationally registered Rural Generalist with Advanced procedural skills in Obstetrics.
