We’re on the lookout for an experienced Rural General Practitioner (VMO) to join our busy, well-supported practice and provide VMO services at Smithton District Hospital.

You’ll be joining a solid team that shares the load (and the on-call). Expect variety, autonomy, and the kind of medicine that keeps your brain engaged.

The hospital features:

·       12 acute care beds

·       Emergency department

·       Midwifery clinic

·       Visiting specialists (you won’t be alone out here)

You’ll Need:

·       General or Vocational Registration with AHPRA

·       Experience managing a broad scope of GP presentations

·       A current emergency medicine certificate (ALS2, REST or equivalent)

·       Recent unsupervised experience in an emergency setting
