The Opportunity

A great locum Medical Superintendent opportunity is available in Queensland to work in this reputable health service that provides various medical services to its friendly community. The facility offers general medicine, 24-hour emergency, visiting services, allied health and mental health services. The locum may not be required to work 8 hours a day at the hospital however he/she will be required to be available on call at all times when not on site.

 

The Location

Located on the Flinders Shire, this outback town is known as an artist haven. It is half-way between Townsville and Mount Isa that offers locums a chance to explore their national parks, sculptures around town, rich fossil and dinosaur areas and get a glimpse of its history.

 

Essential Criteria

You must be a vocationally registered GP (FRACGP or FACRRM) with recent rural emergency and general medicine experience and a current ALS2 (or equivalent) certificate.
