The opportunity
Work with a fantastic team in this 23-bed facility that offers a variety of medical services to a rural community. You will cover the outpatient clinics, ward round, supervision of junior staff and ED presentations. On-call out of hours is on a roster basis typically 1 day in 3.
The location
The hospital is located in an elegant and charming town in north Queensland. Get a chance to discover this town's historical treasures. On your free time, you can enjoy a walking tour around town, visit its historical buildings and museums, and catch a sorbet sunset in a rocky pinnacle.
Essential Criteria
You must be an experienced rural doctor who is used to working in rural communities. Specialist AHPRA registration, recent ED experience and up-to-date emergency care skills are essential.
