Solo Doctor Rural Generalist role in a beautiful rural Queensland community. GP appointments in the practice Monday – Friday 9am to 4:30pm with an hour for lunch. On-call including after hours and weekends for any emergency presentations at the MPHS which is also staffed by experienced nursing staff and Facility Manager. Accommodation is provided in a 4-bedroom house which is non sharing, fully self-contained. Multiple 2 week blocks available.

The location

Quilpie is conveniently located along the Natural Sciences Loop and the Warrego Way and is the Business Centre for the Quilpie Shire. Outside of work you might fancy catching a Yellowbelly or some Yabbies in the river, or wandering through the museums and Art Galleries around town. Sit back and enjoy the unique flora and fauna throughout the surrounding countryside.

Essential criteria

To be considered eligible for this role, you must be a vocationally registered GP with ALS2 or equivalent emergency certification.
