The opportunity
The hospital is a 195-bed public hospital that is known to be the major cancer care centre for the Hunter New England Local Health District. They have 14 beds in the Emergency Department and 12 beds in the Emergency Short Stay Unit. You will be working as an ED Reg/SRMO in a fixed 10-hour shift with no on call.
The location
The hospital is located in a beautiful harbour city in New South Wales, famous for its beaches, cafes and colourful street art. It is the second-largest city in New South Wales and the sixth-largest in Australia. The hospital is a 2-hour drive from Sydney and a 20-minute drive from Newcastle airport.
Essential Criteria
To be eligible for this locum you must have working rights in Australia, registration on AHPRA and have extensive Emergency Medicine experience.
Rates: $160 p/hr
Dates: 11th April - 30th April
