Scottsdale TAS | Discover The Best Rural Scenery on The Apple Isle

We have ongoing GP VMO opportunities in our well-equipped, purpose-built facility boasting five consulting rooms, a three-bay treatment room, a procedure room and on-site pathology. Operating hours are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, with a Saturday clinic from 9am-11am. The medical centre is an AGPAL-accredited practice.

Ochre Health Medical Centre Scottsdale works cooperatively with our satellite medical centre in the nearby coastal town of Bridport which is open 3 days per fortnight. GPs at the practice also provide VMO support to the adjacent Scottsdale Hospital. The Scottsdale Hospital has 19 acute care beds, an Outpatient and Emergency Service, low-risk maternity, physiotherapy, radiology, and visiting services.

The vibrant farming community is located 1 hour from Launceston. Explore the forest reserves by foot or mountain bike, or perhaps you'd prefer to visit the local galleries and cafes on your days off.  Thirty minutes north is the neighbouring coastal town of Bridport; test your golf skills on the iconic Barnbougle golf course or take a trip out to Granite Point Conservation area and watch the sun go down over Mermaids Beach.
