The Opportunity

Experience a rewarding opportunity providing locum support to this Aboriginal Medical Service where you will work alongside a dedicated team of nurses, Aboriginal health practitioners, allied health professionals, and visiting specialists, alongside other fellow GPs. You'll make a meaningful impact through 20-minute minimum consultations, ensuring every patient receives the attention they deserve. With working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, you'll enjoy a balanced schedule with no on-call or weekend work. On occasion you may be required to support an outreach clinic where you may be the sole GP but you will still have the support of the network in place.

 

$1800 is paid daily and Best Practice software is in use. 2-3 weeks minimum is suitable and longer blocks preferred where possible. Plus, benefit from the convenience of flights, a car, and accommodation provided to enhance your locum experience.

MM4 Location. This location qualifies for additional financial incentives through the Workforce Incentive Program (WIP). Eligible GPs can receive significant financial support based on the area's classification. Essential Criteria

·        FACRRM/FRACGP or VR qualifications 

·        Unrestricted AHPRA Specialist Registration

·        SA Working With Children Check

·        Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

·        Experience in rural or remote primary care, ideally Indigenous health

·         Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal communities
